Terms & Conditions
Proofs : After we have received initial payment and confirmed your order we will provide you with a proof of any printed text for your approval. Proofs will be emailed to you as a pdf file. Please ensure that you check this document carefully for accuracy of spelling, layout and sizing of text. You should list any changes if required, in order, clearly, in an email and email them to us. When you are satisfied with your proof you should email us your approval in order for printing to commence.
If you make any changes to your proofs after your approval to print has been received you will be charged for these on the basis of time spent plus any costs incurred by us. We cannot be responsible for any errors in your stationery not spotted by you at the proofing stage. Please allow up to six weeks for final delivery from payment. You will need to allow longer for bespoke designs and for further details about the procedures for this process see our bespoke design page.
Cancellation : Should you have to cancel your order please be aware that any monies paid will not be refunded.
Marketing : We reserve the right to use any stationery we create for you to promote our products and services.
Privacy & Data Protection : We collect information given during the course of enquiring, ordering and registration process. We keep this on record to assist our administration and for future marketing initiatives. We do not sell or pass to anyone information contained on customers, which remains confidential to the company.
Charges & Fees : We will not begin work on your order until we have received payment of the 50% deposit. Information on how to pay will be sent to you after you have placed an order. The price of any samples bought will be deducted from your order total.
Unless otherwise stated all additional work including proofs, quotes, consultations, illustrations not mentioned in our normal processes will be charged at a rate of £40 per hour. We will make any additional hours required clear to you prior to going ahead.
Delivery : Paperbird Design currently delivers to the UK and Ireland only. If you wish for us to deliver to you outside of the UK and Ireland please contact us to arrange this. All UK & Ireland deliveries will be made via Royal Mail special delivery and will require a signature upon receipt. We operate a standard delivery charge of £25.00 in the UK whch covers insurance up to £500. If a higher insurance value is needed this can be obtained.
